Kenyan Gems- Kenya Bay Beach Hotel
I have just returned from a 2 night stay
at the Kenya Bay Beach Hotel in the North Coast and it was one of the most
amazing hotel experiences I have ever had. I didn't want to leave! We
arrived at the hotel to friendly staff who helped us out of the taxi
and into the hotel.
The lobby is very glamorous with glitzy chandeliers and polished floors. Check in was efficient and staff was friendly.Need I say the prices are the best you have ever heard of. It wont break your neck or Bank, and it will definitely be worth the while.

Funny story, the first time I talked to Jaswinder I totally thought that he was some youngin' he sounded so full of life, you know. He is also welcoming and quite humble. Jaswinder is one of the owners of the lovely Kenya Bay Beach Hotel. The hotel is of Indian heritage so you must know that the food is to die for, from the vegetarian to the meaty dishes you will salivate. We all know Indians make killer meals. Disclaimer: The chef is not Indian though:) and the food is totally diverse too. serving italian, french, mexican to african dishes.

I got here pretty early, so the sunbeds were still down but that view definitely caught my eye like it has yours. |
I was given the perfect room, with a lovely bed and the most breathtaking view of the ocean.
The room was absolutely massive with a queen sized bed, plasma television, high ceilings and gorgeous decor.
It was absolute luxury. Beds and linen were heavenly comfortable and the
amenities in the room were great. The bathroom was equally spectacular with a huge
bathtub a large mirror, for those who know me understand my love for mirrors. The room also had a large wardrobe with more than enough hanging space that you
would require and a safe.

on your way to the beach |
You could see the entire beach from the bed. My God! I was totally spoilt. I took a video of this because i needed you to understand exactly what i was talking about.
Location wise it is a quite area, it's not clubby or
loud, the hotel is nestled with a selection of other hotels and because
of the way they are situated offer alternative places to visit during
the day and evening in terms of restaurants and bars most if not all
offering beautiful views.
If it is nightlife or a wider selection of restaurants then as mentioned above there are a number of minibuses that run regularly though the evening to the old town.
To be honest with you this hotel was nothing short of
amazing from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. It was an
absolutely wonderful experience staying here. Leaving was the hardest
part! The hotel is beautiful, rooms are luxurious and service is
outstanding. Very highly recommended!
As you know i always make a list of my favourite places in every hotel i go to and Kenya Bay Beach Hotel did not disappoint. It is actually so hard to choose.
1. The beach
I think the happiest part about going to the coast is the beach, it becomes even better when you can see it right from your bed. You hear the waves in your sleep. I remember feeling hypnotised. it was one of the most relaxing feeling ever.
like i said earlier our room was big with large bedroom
windows opening to a beautiful sea view which when waking up every
morning to the view was a treat. We also had a balcony
which over looked the sea which was great to relax have a coffee, wine
etc and was great in the early morning while i waited for the sunrise.

I have always been your favourite tourist |
2. The dining room and the Food
The reason I have to combine these two is because I could talk a whole day. If you let me. Breakfast was a mixture of hot and cold beverages,
cereals, mahamri, some well cooked Indian mandazis that i later found out were called purees, the only thing I thought was missing
was some sweet things like muffins which would be give during the afternoon tea, oh man! i have to be honest with you i would totally get fat if i stayed for a week at Kenya Bay beach. Thanks has to go out to the breakfast team who were so polite and
friendly, i am honestly saying that all the staff were friendly all over the hotel.

3. The sunrise from my balcony
I would like you to notice how i have possessed that room to be mine, hilarious! but then after you have seen this sunrise how would i not own it? It isn't very often I visit somewhere
where I find it hard to leave but Kenya Bay Beach is one of them, it is
so hard to put in to words just how beautiful this place is and it's
location, I just can't do it justice. Nice for families, perfect for couples and excellent for the oldies like me.

The clouds were playing, but i still woke up. I am totally a morning person. |
4. The space
Kenya Bay beach in not the exaggerated hotel. it is simple, homely, lovely, beautiful i could go on. My adjectives are probably not enough to justify what i intend to say so maybe some of my photos will. I would like you to note that the following pictures are within the hotel compound.
Like i said, words are not enough to describe such beauty. I will post a video on my YouTube channel for your viewing. i honestly cant wait for you all to watch it. For anymore information kindly email me on mtetetravels@gmail.con, I am always willing to help. You could also leave your comments down below so i would love to hear all your opinions.
We can't wait to re-visit this hotel again both to dine in but also to stay in!!!
This hotel is simply the best I've experienced. Service is off the
charts. From check-in to room service the staff was remarkable. Thank you so much Mr. Jaswinder, I am forever grateful.
